Madison Anesthesiology Consultants is seeking Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants (CAAs) to join their private practice at UnityPoint Meriter Hospital in Madison, WI. Responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia care across a variety of surgical specialties including general surgery, vascular, urology, gynecology, orthopedics, ENT, and podiatry.
  • Administer labor epidurals and manage cesarean sections on the obstetric floor.
  • Participate in scheduled OR cases during a 4-day workweek with 10-hour shifts.
  • Attend in-house call every 6 weeks, scheduled as one sequence (Friday, Sunday, Tuesday) from 7pm to 7am, followed by 5 days off.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe anesthesia delivery.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia care and patient status.
  • Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards.
  • Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

Compensation

  • Salary range from $210,000 to $250,000 based on experience.
  • Sign-on bonus up to $75,000.
  • Additional income through profit sharing and incentives.
  • W-2 employment tax status.

Benefits

  • Full benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability insurance, with premiums paid 100% by the group.
  • 7 weeks of PTO plus paid holidays.

Shift & Schedule

  • Four 10-hour day shifts per week, Monday through Friday, from 7am to 5pm.

  • Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) certification.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team of healthcare professionals.
