Premier Health is seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist Assistant (AA) to join the hospital-based anesthesia team at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. The role involves providing anesthesia support across a variety of case types in a large, multidisciplinary facility with comprehensive trauma, cardiac, neurology, and neonatal services. The position offers a collaborative environment with flexible scheduling and a focus on clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia support for general, orthopedic, obstetric, cardiac, neurosurgery, pediatric, and trauma cases.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists and care team members to deliver safe and effective anesthesia care.
• Participate in preoperative assessments and postoperative care as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia procedures and patient records.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and clinical standards.
• Contribute to a team-oriented environment that emphasizes autonomy and quality care.
• Support hospital initiatives to improve patient outcomes and clinical processes.
• Stay current with continuing education and maintain licensure requirements.

Requirements

• Licensed Anesthesiologist Assistant in Ohio.
• Strong clinical skills across a broad case mix including general, orthopedic, obstetric, cardiac, neurosurgery, pediatric, and trauma cases.

• Ability to work independently within a collaborative team environment.
• Commitment to clinical excellence and patient safety.
• Experience in a hospital-based anesthesia setting preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
