Unified Women's Healthcare is seeking a full-time Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join Thunderbird Obstetrics and Gynecology in Glendale, AZ. The position involves providing obstetric and gynecologic care at a single office location and hospital, with a focus on quality of life and work-life balance. The role includes a manageable call schedule, a four-day workweek, and participation in a collaborative, physician-led practice environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide obstetric and gynecologic care to a diverse patient population in the office setting.
• Deliver and manage labor and delivery at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center, which has a Level III NICU and MFM consults.
• Participate in a shared call rotation, averaging 4-5 shifts per month, with call taken from home within medical staff guidelines.
• Collaborate with a team of physicians and staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Maintain documentation and compliance with clinical protocols and standards.
• Contribute to patient education and counseling on women's health issues.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and practice development activities.
• Participate in professional development and continuing medical education (CME).

Shift & Schedule

Requirements

• Board Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM).
• Current unrestricted Arizona medical license or ability to obtain one.
• Current unrestricted DEA license or ability to obtain one.
• Strong background in labor and delivery nursing preferred for new graduates.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a full scope of midwifery services.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Experience with obstetrics and gynecology preferred but not required for new graduates.
• Ability to participate in a shared call schedule, including taking call from home.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and clinical documentation.
