Tarleton State University’s College of Health Sciences seeks qualified applicants for part-time Adjunct Instructor positions in the Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Medicine program. These roles involve teaching, curriculum development, student assessment, and academic support, primarily for the 2025/2026 academic year at the Stephenville campus. Requirements

  • Master’s degree from an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current NCCPA certification or an earned professional/practice doctoral degree (e.g., M.D., D.O., Pharm.D., DMSc) or research doctorate (e.g., Ph.D. in physiology).
  • Previous clinical precepting or teaching experience in an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program is preferred.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to interact professionally and collegially with students, staff, and faculty.
  • Willingness to work in a collaborative, supportive academic environment.
  • Experience or interest in innovative teaching methods and pedagogical approaches.
  • Ability to adapt to teaching in person, online, or hybrid formats.
  • Availability to support students and participate in program activities during the academic year.
  • Applicants new to academia are encouraged to apply and will receive mentoring and faculty development support.
