We are seeking a licensed Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide primary care in a newly opening clinic. The provider will deliver comprehensive healthcare services to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients independently until additional clinicians join the team. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required, and the role involves community engagement and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care management for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients independently.
• Order, interpret, and utilize diagnostic tests to inform patient care.
• Prescribe medications and dispense when appropriate.
• Educate patients and families on preventive care, medical conditions, and treatment plans.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of medical interventions.
• Conduct physical exams and record detailed medical histories.
• Perform minor procedures such as suturing and casting.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain compliance with HIPAA, clinical guidelines, and company policies.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in the practicing state.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a PA or NP, including pediatric and adult care.
• Current National Certification and DEA certification.
• Proficiency in both Spanish and English.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as the first provider in a new clinic setting.
• Knowledge of ICD and CPT coding for billing purposes is preferred.
• Flexibility to work variable schedules, including evenings, holidays, and extended hours.
• Physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds and perform duties that may require sitting, standing, bending, or stretching.
