Responsibilities

• Manage neonatal patients in collaboration with a Neonatologist according to established protocols.
• Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and implement treatment strategies.
• Provide indirect patient care through role modeling, clinical consultation, and education.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, certification, and hospital policies.
• Participate in quality improvement and clinical protocol development.
• Maintain current certifications including BLS, and obtain ACLS and PALS within 6 months.
• Contribute to a multidisciplinary team to optimize neonatal care.
• Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly.

Requirements

• Current North Carolina RN license.
• Graduate of an accredited Nursing School with a Master's of Science in Nursing or Nurse Practitioner certification.

• ACLS and PALS certification required within 6 months of employment.
• 3-5 years of relevant neonatal or pediatric experience.
