A hospital-based orthopedic physician assistant position involving outpatient and inpatient care, including consults, rechecks, post-operative visits, and coverage for trauma, joint replacements, sports medicine, and fracture care. The role supports a team of four physicians in a Monday through Friday schedule with call coverage, utilizing GE Centricity and EPIC EMR systems. Responsibilities
- Manage outpatient and inpatient orthopedic patient care, including consults, rechecks, and post-operative visits.
- Provide coverage for trauma, joint replacements, sports medicine, and fracture care as part of a team of four physicians.
- Participate in call coverage as required, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
- Utilize GE Centricity (clinic) and EPIC (hospital) EMR systems for documentation and patient management.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and cast technicians to deliver comprehensive orthopedic care.
- Support hospital and clinic-based orthopedic services in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain compliance with licensing, credentialing, and privileging requirements.
- Provide patient education and follow-up care as needed.
Compensation
- Hourly rate ranging from $90.00 to $105.00, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Relocation support provided, including coverage of licensing and malpractice costs.
