Phoenix Children's Division of Cardiology is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP), either a Physician Assistant or Adult Nurse Practitioner, to join the high-volume Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) program.   • Manage post-operative care following cardiac surgery.
  • Triage and respond to acute patient concerns and incoming clinical calls.
  • Participate in rotating call and weekend coverage as part of the ACHD care team.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Phoenix Children’s and Dignity Health.
  • Educate and collaborate with clinical team members to promote best practices in ACHD care.

Compensation

  • Salary commensurate with experience.

Shift & Schedule

  • Variable schedule days.
  • Participate in rotating call and weekend coverage as part of the ACHD care team.
  • Call schedule varies and includes responding to acute patient concerns.

Requirements

  • Licensed Physician Assistant (PA) or Adult Nurse Practitioner (NP).
  • Current certification in respective area of training.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • 3-5 years of experience in adult cardiology or ACHD strongly preferred.
  • Ability to independently manage outpatient ACHD patients.
  • Experience with inpatient care, post-operative management, and care coordination.
  • Willingness to participate in rotating call and weekend coverage.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to clinical excellence, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
