This is a 12-week full-time assignment at an 8-bed Ambulatory Surgery Center specializing in pediatric and related specialties. The role involves performing procedures across various specialties, with supervision provided by MDs. The position does not require call or overtime, and candidates may need to obtain state licensure.
Responsibilities
- Perform procedures in pediatric ENT, cataracts, orthopedics, GYN, podiatry, spine, ocular plastics, general surgery, GI lab, and EP lab.
- Work in a 6-operating-room and 2-procedure-room ambulatory surgical setting.
- Operate within a team supervised by MDs, with CRNA supervision.
- Manage cases in a pediatric-heavy environment with a focus on patient safety and quality care.
- Adhere to scheduled shifts of 10 hours, four days per week.
- Maintain compliance with licensing requirements, including obtaining state licensure if necessary.
- Participate in procedures without the need for call or overtime, unless offered.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a high-volume outpatient setting.
