Bassett Healthcare Network is seeking a Physician Assistant to join its Dermatology division in central New York. The role involves outpatient dermatology practice with opportunities in medical, pediatric, procedural, laser, and cosmetic dermatology, serving a diverse patient population across multiple office locations. Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient dermatology care to approximately 25-30 patients per day across multiple office locations.
• Collaborate with a team that includes dermatologists, a Mohs surgeon, and a teledermatologist.
• Perform medical dermatology procedures, with opportunities for pediatric, laser, and cosmetic dermatology.
• Work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a primarily outpatient setting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow-up for patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement and clinical initiatives as needed.
• Utilize virtual scribes and electronic health records efficiently.
• Adhere to all clinical protocols and standards of care.

Compensation

• $104,040 to $138,816 base salary, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
• Performance-based incentives, including a competitive RVU bonus and productivity incentives.
• Sign-on bonus up to $50,000.

Shift & Schedule

Requirements

• National Certification as a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner.
• New York State licensure.
• BLS certification.
• DEA registration.
• Dermatology experience preferred, including medical dermatology; additional skills in pediatric, procedural, laser, or cosmetic dermatology are a plus.
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Comfort with outpatient clinical practice.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
