Responsibilities

• Perform anesthesia for a range of cases including neuro, trauma, vascular, endocrine, thoracic, obstetrics, and emergency procedures.
• Manage anesthesia during labor and delivery, supporting approximately 150 births annually.
• Provide anesthesia coverage for emergency room visits, totaling around 24,000 annually.
• Participate in call rotations with premium compensation, with no in-house call required.
• Work flexible shifts of 8, 10, 12, or 14 hours based on scheduling needs.
• Collaborate with a team of 15 anesthesia providers in a Level 2 trauma center setting.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols during all procedures.
• Maintain documentation and compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.

Compensation

• Salary plus incentives, including a sign-on bonus of $40,000.
• Sign-on bonus provided upon employment.
• W-2 tax status.

Shift & Schedule

• Variable shift lengths including 8, 10, 12, or 14 hours.
• Call schedule varies; some call required with premium pay.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of anesthesia experience preferred.
• Current medical license and board certification in anesthesiology.
• Ability to perform a variety of anesthesia procedures across multiple specialties.
