Claris Health is seeking a licensed Nurse Midwife or equivalent mid-level provider to deliver OB/GYN services across multiple sites, including clinics and a mobile medical unit in Los Angeles County. The role involves providing prenatal care, well-woman exams, STI testing and treatment, and patient education, with an emphasis on serving underserved populations. Responsibilities

• Conduct pregnancy tests, female health screenings, and STI testing and treatment
• Provide early prenatal care and lead Centering groups (if certified)
• Educate patients on contraception, pregnancy loss, healthy pregnancy, and nutrition
• Perform and/or learn limited obstetric ultrasound
• Rotate across clinic sites and mobile units, including occasional weekend outreach events
• Collaborate with the Clinic Director, supervise medical volunteers, and support medical assistants
• Meet patients where they are clinically and emotionally to ensure respectful, patient-centered care
• Adapt to changing needs across different care settings and locations

Compensation

• Hourly rate between $60.00 and $64.00 (USD), paid via W-2
• Salary range varies based on experience and location

Requirements

• Licensed as a Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, or Nurse Midwife in California
• Minimum two years of OB/GYN experience preferred
• OB ultrasound training is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Experience working in mobile or community-based care settings is a plus
• Comfortable traveling across multiple sites and stepping into various roles as needed
• Strong bedside manner and commitment to respectful patient care
