Erlanger Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Urogynecology team in an outpatient setting. The provider will deliver specialized care for women with pelvic floor disorders, including evaluations, follow-up visits, and patient education, collaborating with urogynecologists and OB/GYN specialists. This full-time role involves managing conditions such as urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and overactive bladder, with responsibilities spanning assessment, treatment planning, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial evaluations and follow-up visits for women with pelvic floor disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with specialists.
  • Assist with in-office procedures related to urogynecology conditions.
  • Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment options, and self-management.
  • Collaborate with a team of urogynecologists and OB/GYN providers to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in quality improvement activities.
  • Support patient self-efficacy and behavior change as part of team-based care.
  • Participate in clinical decision-making and adhere to state and institutional protocols.

Compensation

Requirements

  • Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) with certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or graduate of a Physician Assistant program.
  • Current licensure as an RN and APN in Tennessee.
  • National certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., FNP, ACNP, ANP, CCNS).
  • BLS certification prior to start and ongoing maintenance.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in women's health or pelvic medicine preferred.
  • Knowledge of nursing principles, organizational policies, and current trends in women's health.
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Ability to assess patients across the lifespan and provide age-appropriate care.
  • Must obtain Tennessee licensure or multistate licensure from a compact state within three months if applicable.
  • Experience with outpatient care and patient education in a specialized women's health setting is preferred.
