This is a contract position for an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant in an inpatient psychiatric setting in Seattle, Washington. The role involves providing outpatient-level primary care, managing substance withdrawal, and performing histories and physicals for new admissions. The schedule is part-time, with approximately 24 hours per week, primarily on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, with a longer shift on Wednesdays.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient-level primary care in a psychiatric setting.
• Manage substance withdrawal cases.
• Perform histories and physical examinations for all new admissions.
• Conduct 4 to 6 patient encounters per shift.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team.
• Work approximately 4 hours on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and 9.6 hours on Wednesdays.
• Provide care in an inpatient psychiatric environment.
• Maintain documentation and adhere to clinical protocols.

Compensation

• Hourly rate ranging from $75.00 to $100.00, depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

• Experience working with mentally ill populations preferred.

• Ability to work a variable schedule with shifts totaling approximately 24 hours per week.
