WakeMed, a leading not-for-profit healthcare system in Raleigh, North Carolina, is seeking full-time Anesthetists to provide coverage across multiple hospital locations. The role offers flexibility in work sites, diverse case types including trauma, pediatrics, and general anesthesia, and a comprehensive benefits package. Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for a variety of cases including trauma, pediatrics, general surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics, and specialty procedures.
• Cover assigned hospital sites, with flexibility to work at Wake Raleigh, Wake Cary, or Wake North, or multiple locations as desired.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare providers to ensure safe anesthesia administration.
• Manage preoperative assessments and postoperative care in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia procedures and patient records.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety standards.
• Support the hospital's commitment to high-quality patient outcomes and safety protocols.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing medical education.

Compensation

• Salary-based compensation with a full-time employment model.

Requirements

• Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) or equivalent.
• Active medical license in North Carolina or eligibility to obtain one.
• Experience in providing anesthesia across a range of surgical specialties preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
