A full-time Orthopedic Surgery Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner position is available in southwest Kansas. The role involves clinic duties and first assist responsibilities in the operating room, with a shared call schedule. The candidate should have some experience or training in orthopedic surgery, with board certification and Kansas licensure or eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care in an orthopedic setting
• Assist in surgical procedures as a first assist
• Participate in a shared call schedule (1 in 6)
• Collaborate with a team of orthopedic surgeons and providers
• Maintain certification and licensure requirements
• Work weekdays, Monday through Friday
• Engage in patient consultations and follow-up care
• Support the clinic's operational needs

Requirements

• Experience or training in orthopedic surgery
• National board certification
• Kansas APP license or eligibility
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
• Ability to work weekdays and participate in call schedule
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Training or experience as a PA or NP in orthopedics
• Flexibility to adapt to clinic and OR duties
• Excellent clinical and patient care skills
