Saint Alphonsus Medical Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide urgent care services across multiple outpatient clinics in Boise, Idaho. The role involves managing acute illnesses, injuries, physicals, and chronic disease care within a team-based environment, with opportunities for telehealth consultations through the MyeVisit program. The position is part-time, PRN, with variable shifts and call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries in an outpatient urgent care setting.
• Perform physical exams, procedures, and services including school and sports physicals.
• Provide chronic disease management and health education.
• Ensure compliance with established standards of care, policies, and procedures.
• Coordinate care through timely consultation or referral to physicians or specialists.
• Participate in telehealth services via the MyeVisit program to deliver care remotely.
• Maintain accurate documentation and medical records.
• Support a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care.

Compensation

• Market-based salary (W-2 employment).

Shift & Schedule

• Variable schedule with 12-hour shifts.
• Shifts available Monday through Sunday, with hours varying based on seasonal volume and acuity.
• Call responsibilities approximately 1:30 days per month, schedule varies.

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license in Idaho.
• Valid controlled substance registration with the Idaho Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
• Experience in urgent care or acute care settings preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to work variable shifts, including weekends and call duties.
