Carolina QuickCare is seeking licensed Family Nurse Practitioners (FNP-C) or Physician Assistants (PA-C) to provide urgent care services across North Carolina. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients, performing procedures, ordering diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and documenting encounters in the EMR. Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat patients presenting to urgent care
  • Perform procedures such as laceration repair, abscess drainage, splinting, and wound care
  • Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Prescribe medications and provide patient education
  • Document patient encounters accurately in the EMR
  • Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure efficient operations and patient satisfaction

Compensation

  • Hourly pay: $55-$75/hour (approximately $103K-$140K/year), depending on experience and clinic location
  • Productivity, signing, and relocation bonuses for select clinics
  • Additional income options include sign-on bonus, relocation support, productivity bonus, loan repayment, and CME allowance
  • Tax status: W-2

  • Active DEA, BLS, and ACLS certifications
  • Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification
  • 1+ year of urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care experience preferred
  • DOT certification a plus
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient service skills
