Wake Forest Health Network is seeking a Neurosurgery Physician Assistant to join their multidisciplinary team in High Point, NC. The role involves assisting in neurosurgical procedures, managing perioperative patient care, and collaborating with neurosurgeons in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Responsibilities

• Assist in neurosurgical procedures and perioperative patient care
• Conduct pre-operative evaluations and manage post-operative recovery
• Work in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Collaborate with neurosurgeons, APPs, and multidisciplinary teams
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery processes
• Participate in rotating call coverage as required
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities
• Adhere to clinical protocols and safety standards

Shift & Schedule

• Full-time, 40 hours per week

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant Program (Master's preferred)
• Current North Carolina PA license or eligibility to obtain
• Certification by NCCPA
• Experience in neurosurgery, surgery, or acute care preferred
• Strong clinical skills and teamwork orientation
• Excellent communication and patient-centered care skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Flexibility to participate in rotating call schedule

• Knowledge of neurosurgical procedures and perioperative management is a plus
