Urgent Care Physician Assistant

Gould Medical Group is seeking a board-certified Urgent Care Physician Assistant in Stockton, California. The role involves providing urgent care services across all age groups in a clinic or private practice setting, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care in a stable and growing group. Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care services to patients of all age ranges.
• Perform on-site imaging and laboratory procedures.
• Work a mix of weekday and weekend shifts, totaling 12 shifts per month.
• Manage patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the Epic EHR system.
• Participate in quality improvement and continuing education activities.
• Adhere to clinical protocols and safety standards.

Compensation

• Starting base salary of $160,000.

Shift & Schedule

• Variable schedule with a mix of 8 to 12-hour shifts.
• 12 shifts per month, totaling 144 shifts per year.
• Shifts include weekdays and weekends.

Requirements

• Board certification as a Physician Assistant.
• Urgent Care or Emergency Room experience preferred.
• Ability to work a variable schedule including weekdays and weekends.
• Excellent clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Proficiency with electronic health records, specifically Epic.
• Strong commitment to patient care and safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• California Physician Assistant license or eligibility.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Desire to serve diverse patient populations.
