The College seeks a per diem Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant to serve as an associate medical provider at the Perrella Wellness Center. Under supervision, the provider will deliver acute, chronic, and preventive healthcare services to students, primarily when the primary provider is unavailable. This position offers flexible hours and contributes to student health and well-being within a college setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide, schedule, and coordinate medical services for students seeking care at the Wellness Center.
• Oversee referrals for students requiring off-campus medical care.
• Maintain effective working relationships with all Wellness Center constituents.
• Utilize on-site laboratory services and medication formulary appropriately.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements in electronic medical records.
• Create and maintain positive relationships with internal and external offices.
• Participate in campus activities such as Welcome Weekend, True Blue Weekend, and Commencement Weekend.
• Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards; conduct oneself professionally on and off campus.

Compensation

• Hourly wage range of USD 60.00 to USD 70.00 per hour.
• Compensation is paid on a W-2 basis.
• No mention of loan assistance or additional financial benefits.

• Variable schedule, approximately 8-16 hours per week.

Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant licensure.
• Board certification in an area relevant to College Health or General Practice.
• Minimum of three years of clinical experience.
• Current DEA prescribing license.
• CPR certification for the Professional Rescuer.
• Excellent clinical assessment skills.
• Experience supervising clerical and nursing staff preferred.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Flexibility to work variable hours (8-16 hours per week).
