Emory Healthcare is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Cardiothoracic Surgery team at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus. The role involves patient evaluation, documentation, performing physical exams, assisting in diagnosis and treatment planning, and conducting diagnostic procedures under physician supervision. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient management.
  • Adhere to all clinical protocols and safety standards.

Compensation

  • Hourly rate ranging from USD $40.85 to $74.51.
  • Incentive plan eligibility.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.

  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (ANCC or equivalent) or Physician Assistant (NCCPA).
  • BLS and Healthcare Provider certifications; ACLS may be required depending on the area.
  • At least one year of clinical experience in high-acuity specialties preferred.
  • Additional certification in Acute Care (ACNP or AGACNP) for inpatient roles within Emory Healthcare.
  • Ability to perform physical exams and diagnostic procedures competently.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Flexibility to work variable schedules.
