Wound Pros Management Group, Inc. is seeking a full-time In-State Travel Nurse Practitioner (NP) in New York to provide advanced wound care services in home and long-term care settings. The role involves performing wound assessments, delivering treatments, and educating patients, utilizing innovative technology and evidence-based protocols to improve healing outcomes and prevent amputations.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical exams and wound assessments in long-term care facilities or home settings.
• Order, interpret, and select appropriate tests and procedures to inform treatment plans.
• Administer wound care procedures, including debridement and biologic applications, following established protocols.
• Apply topical wound treatments and advanced wound management products.
• Document clinical findings, diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care in electronic health records.
• Educate patients and caregivers on wound prevention, care, and overall health management.
• Travel extensively within the state to patient locations and for training purposes.
• Participate in internal training, team meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Prior hands-on wound care experience; wound care certification is a plus.

• Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner with proof of certification.
• Excellent clinical judgment and patient-centered care approach.
• Proficiency with EMR systems, healthcare technologies, and digital platforms.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs., reposition patients, and perform mobility tasks.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel extensively within the state and participate in training.
