Christus St. Vincent is seeking full-time Anesthesia Assistants to join their anesthesia care team. The role involves working in a Level 3 Trauma center with a shift-based schedule, supporting a modern operating room environment. Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesiologists in providing anesthesia care in a Level 3 Trauma setting.
• Participate in anesthesia procedures within a modern operating room environment.
• Work a shift-based schedule, including light call shifts during weekends and 24-hour periods.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records using Epic electronic health records.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards during anesthesia delivery.
• Collaborate with the anesthesia team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Support preoperative and postoperative patient care as needed.
• Comply with all licensure and certification requirements, including BLS and ACLS.

Compensation

• Base salary of $260,000 annually.
• Additional incentives including a $5,000 annual Engagement Incentive, a $10,000 sign-on bonus, and $30,000 in retention bonuses for each two-year commitment beyond the first year.
• Flat rate for light call shifts (24-hour, weekend) above base salary.
• Relocation support including up to $10,000 in moving expenses and options for direct bill moving services.
• CME and licensure allowance of $5,000 annually.
• Potential eligibility for student loan forgiveness.
• Performance bonuses and other incentive opportunities.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited anesthesia assistant training program.
• Active licensure in New Mexico or ability to obtain licensure.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of anesthesia assistant experience preferred; new graduates are welcome.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including call shifts.
• Knowledge of Epic electronic health record system is preferred.
