PedIM Healthcare is seeking a certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) to provide comprehensive primary care services. The role involves patient assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and collaboration with healthcare professionals in a supportive environment. The position offers opportunities for professional growth with supervision and team support.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical exams, interpretation of diagnostic tests, diagnosis, and development of treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions.
• Prescribe medications and therapies, and provide patient education as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Adhere to state and federal regulations and clinic policies.
• Work effectively within a team to deliver quality healthcare services.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule as required.
• Support continuous professional development through ongoing education.

Shift & Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Rotating on-call schedule with variable hours

Requirements

• Master of Physician Assistant Medicine Degree
• Current, unrestricted state PA-C license
• National certification as a Physician Assistant
• CPR and BLS certifications
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Empathetic, patient-centered approach to healthcare
• Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with diverse healthcare professionals
• Commitment to continuing education to stay current with medical advances
