The Hartford HealthCare Heart & Vascular Institute is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) with electrophysiology experience to provide comprehensive outpatient care for adult cardiology patients. The role involves managing cardiac implantable devices, evaluating patients pre- and post-intervention, and supporting a busy electrophysiology program within a collaborative, technologically advanced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage cardiac implantable devices such as pacemakers, defibrillators, and loop recorders in an outpatient setting.
• Evaluate patients before and after interventions, including clinical assessments and patient education.
• Provide medication management, including anti-arrhythmic and anticoagulation therapies.
• Support the electrophysiology team with patient triage and clinical evaluations.
• Assist in the care coordination and management of patients with arrhythmias.
• Participate in patient education regarding device management and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow-up in accordance with clinical protocols.

Shift & Schedule

• Full-time, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Master’s program.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a PA-C, FNP, or AGPCNP in Connecticut.
• Experience in electrophysiology or cardiac arrhythmia management preferred.
• Knowledge of cardiac implantable devices and related therapies.
• Excellent clinical evaluation and patient communication skills.
• Ability to work full-time, Monday through Friday, 8-hour days.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
