This position serves as the first point of contact for the department, handling front desk duties, administrative tasks, and supporting the health plan's day-to-day activities involving protected health information. The role requires active enrollment in a degree program and offers hourly compensation.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct prospective students and visitors; route telephone calls; schedule appointments.
• Coordinate daily front desk activities, including maintaining key inventory, database management, and data entry.
• Perform word processing tasks such as drafting correspondence, forms, tables, labels, flyers, and posters.
• Track and file office documents, purchase orders, and invoices.
• Provide backup coverage for other office staff as needed.
• Assist with activities involving protected health information in compliance with HIPAA, including handling employee claims, benefits coordination, eligibility verification, billing, and collection activities.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Compensation

• Hourly wage of $15.00 per hour.
