This is a full-time Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) position at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, offering full scope midwifery practice within an integrated OB/GYN team. The role involves providing comprehensive maternity care, including coverage on the Family Birthplace, with opportunities for leadership and project involvement in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope midwifery care to patients, including prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum services.
• Collaborate with a team of physicians, nurse midwives, and advanced practice providers to deliver comprehensive obstetric care.
• Participate in coverage of the Family Birthplace, including scheduled and on-call hours.
• Lead and participate in quality improvement projects and clinical initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and standards.
• Educate patients and families on pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum health.
• Contribute to a supportive, team-based clinical environment.
• Engage in professional development and continuing education activities.

Requirements

• Current certification as a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM).
• State licensure or eligibility to practice as a CNM in Massachusetts.
