Intermountain Health is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our Women's Health clinic at St. Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, Montana. The role involves providing comprehensive maternity and women's health care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting patients through antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care. The position offers opportunities for GYN and primary care services, with a focus on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a Level 1 Trauma Center setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, evidence-based maternity and women's health care, including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum services.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, and other healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, procedures, and postpartum care.
• Participate in clinical consultations, referrals, and care planning within the scope of practice.
• Utilize EPIC EMR system for documentation and care coordination.
• Support GYN and primary care needs as appropriate.
• Contribute to a team of midwives and advanced practice providers in a busy clinic environment.
• Assist with labor and delivery, including some responsibilities in the Level 3 NICU.

Compensation

• Hourly rate between $51.61 and $79.62, depending on experience.

Shift & Schedule

• Full-time position with variable schedule days.

Requirements

• Current ACNM certification as a Certified Nurse Midwife.
• Ability to obtain Montana RN and CNM licenses with prescriptive authority in Montana and Wyoming.
• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.
• Unobstructed Montana medical license or ability to obtain one.
• Experience in labor and delivery nursing preferred; 3-5 years as a midwife preferred.
• Passion for women's health and patient-centered care.
• Ability to work full-time, including 8-hour clinic shifts and 24-hour call shifts.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
• Manual dexterity and physical ability to assist with patient transfers and equipment handling.
• Ability to navigate busy clinical environments and respond effectively during emergencies.
