This is a part-time, locum tenens outpatient clinic position in Hermiston, Oregon, requiring coverage of 12-hour shifts. The provider will see patients of all ages, perform sutures, splints, and castings, and work independently with MA support. EMR training is available, and the role offers flexible scheduling within the clinic's operating hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient clinical care to patients of all ages from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Perform sutures, splints, and cast applications as needed.
• Manage a patient load of approximately 3 patients per hour.
• Document patient encounters using Experity EMR, with training provided.
• Work independently as a solo provider with MA support.
• Cover shifts on a variable schedule, up to three days per week.
• Maintain credentialing requirements, including a 14-day credentialing period.
• Adhere to clinic protocols and ensure quality patient care.

Compensation

• Up to $90.00 hourly, paid on a 1099 basis.
• Hourly compensation consistent across shifts.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted DEA license.
• Ability to perform sutures, splints, and castings.
• Experience in outpatient clinical settings preferred.
• Comfort working independently with support staff.
• Availability to work 12-hour shifts, Monday through Sunday.
• Excellent clinical and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a variable schedule with flexibility.
