Physician Assistant

Delphi Healthcare is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to serve as a solo provider in the Emergency Department in Ogdensburg, NY. The role involves independent decision-making in a low-volume ED setting, with a focus on delivering high-quality emergency care and performing advanced procedures. The position offers a full-time schedule with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and efficient emergency care to patients.
• Evaluate and diagnose patient conditions accurately.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging.
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans.
• Perform procedures such as central line placement and intubation.
• Educate patients on health promotion and disease prevention.
• Make independent clinical decisions in a solo provider role.
• Maintain compliance with all required certifications and protocols.

Compensation

• $200,000 to $300,000 annually (salary).
• W-2 tax status.

Shift & Schedule

• Variable schedule with 12-hour shifts.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of emergency medicine experience working independently in an ED setting.
• Proficiency in performing procedures such as central lines and intubation.
• Current certifications in ATLS, ACLS, PALS, and BLS (American Heart Association).
• Ability to work independently and make critical clinical decisions.
• Excellent evaluation and diagnostic skills.
• Strong communication and patient education skills.
• Valid licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
• In-person availability in Ogdensburg, NY.
• Experience in low-volume emergency departments preferred.
• Comfortable working 12-hour shifts, 12-16 shifts per month.
