A CRNA locum tenens position in a short-term acute care hospital setting, requiring proficiency in obstetric and ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia. The role involves working weekdays with 10-hour shifts, participating in a 1:6 call rotation, and providing anesthesia for various case types including endoscopy, orthopedics, urology, general surgery, OB, and ENT.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia for a variety of procedures including endoscopy, orthopedics, urology, general surgery, OB, and ENT.
• Perform ultrasound-guided regional blocks such as adductor canal, femoral, popliteal, interscalene, supraclavicular, axillary, TAP, and occasional PECS blocks.
• Manage anesthesia care independently within the practice setting.
• Work scheduled weekdays from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with 10-hour shifts.
• Participate in a 1:6 call rotation, providing on-call coverage as required.
• Utilize Medaxion EMR for documentation and patient management.
• Maintain proficiency in OB anesthesia and regional anesthesia techniques.
• Coordinate with the hospital team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Compensation

• Tax status: 1099 independent contractor.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
