Quilted Health is seeking part-time licensed midwives to provide virtual early pregnancy care for clients in the Puget Sound area. The role involves conducting virtual prenatal visits, offering holistic, client-centered support, and collaborating with community partners to promote equitable and accessible reproductive care. Responsibilities

  • Conduct one-hour virtual prenatal visits, providing comprehensive care, education, and support tailored to each client's needs.

  • Develop and prioritize care plans and resource lists based on client needs and preferences.
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation of visits in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
  • Engage in ongoing non-urgent communication with clients via messaging systems.
  • Collaborate with team members and community organizations to deliver holistic social and clinical support.
  • Participate in ongoing projects to advance the organization's mission of equitable, accessible maternity care.

Compensation

  • Hourly rate between $42 and $47, based on experience.
  • W-2 employment status.

  • Mileage reimbursement at IRS standard rate for approved travel.

Shift & Schedule

Requirements

  • Active Washington State license to practice midwifery.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical midwifery experience, including prenatal care management.

  • Proficiency in screening for social needs and supporting social determinants of health.
  • Effective communication skills with healthcare providers, community partners, and clients.
  • Comfort and enthusiasm for virtual midwifery care and technology use.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based DE&I practices or demonstrated interest in culturally responsive care.
  • Ability to work remotely with reliable internet, and work within standard banking hours with flexible scheduling as needed.
  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish, Vietnamese, Russian, Somali, or Marshallese are preferred.
  • Experience with EMR systems and working with interpreter services is a plus.
