We are seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our urgent care team. The provider will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care for acute illnesses and injuries across all age groups in a fast-paced clinical setting. Responsibilities include performing physical exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and developing treatment plans. The role requires strong clinical judgment, independent work capability, and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries for patients of all ages.
• Perform physical examinations and order diagnostic tests.
• Interpret test results and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications in accordance with state regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients and provide follow-up care as needed.

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted North Carolina or compact state registered nurse license.
• North Carolina license as an advanced registered nurse practitioner with prescriptive authority.
• BSN and MSN from an accredited program.
• Successful completion of advanced practitioner training and certification (general or specialized).
• Minimum three years of professional nursing experience in a clinical setting.
• At least two years of nurse practitioner experience.
• Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• BLS certification maintained continuously.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong clinical judgment.
• Excellent communication skills.
