North Fulton Anesthesia Associates is seeking a full-time anesthetist to provide anesthesia services at a standalone ambulatory surgery center in Sandy Springs, with occasional coverage at a nearby facility in Marietta. The role involves outpatient cases across various specialties, primarily involving healthy patients (ASA 1-3). The position offers a collaborative work environment, predictable daytime hours, and comprehensive benefits, including paid time off and retirement plans.

Responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia care for outpatient surgical procedures across multiple specialties including orthopedics, plastics, ENT, general surgery, pediatrics, GI, urology, gynecology, endoscopy, podiatry, and ophthalmology.
  • Collaborate with a team of MDs and anesthetists in a cohesive group environment.
  • Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout perioperative care.
  • Participate in orientation and training for providers with less pediatric experience.
  • Adhere to facility protocols and standards for outpatient anesthesia services.
  • Manage anesthesia for healthy patients (ASA 1-3) in an outpatient setting.
  • Work a schedule averaging 29-34 hours per week with rotating days off.
  • Occasionally cover additional cases at a nearby surgery center as needed.

Compensation

  • $215,000 salary, with bonuses for 5 and 10 years of experience.
  • Total compensation ranges from $220,000 to $250,000 depending on experience.
  • Additional income opportunities include sign-on bonus, loan repayment assistance, and CME allowance.
  • Sign-on bonus of $10,000.
  • W-2 employment tax status.

  • Current certification as a CRNA or anesthesiologist.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Comfort with outpatient anesthesia procedures and healthy patient populations.
  • Willingness to work daytime hours with no call, weekends, or holidays.
  • Prior experience in outpatient anesthesia preferred but new grads are welcome.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a variety of outpatient surgical cases.
  • Comfort with a flexible schedule and rotating shifts.
  • Desire to work in a close-knit, collaborative team environment.
  • Pediatric experience is a plus but not required.
