Summit Health / Starling Physicians is seeking a Physician Assistant to collaborate with cardiology physicians in an outpatient setting. The role involves conducting patient assessments, managing chronic cardiac conditions, interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing patient education. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history, physical exams, and diagnostic evaluations in an outpatient setting.
• Manage and monitor chronic cardiac conditions such as heart failure, arrhythmias, hypertension, and coronary artery disease.
• Interpret ECGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and other cardiac diagnostics.
• Perform stress tests and review test results, labs, and imaging; communicate findings and next steps with patients.
• Provide patient advice and triage over the phone for symptoms like chest pain, palpitations, shortness of breath, or medication concerns.
• Develop, implement, and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with supervising cardiologists.
• Educate patients and families about heart disease prevention, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
• Coordinate care with other specialists, primary care providers, and ancillary staff, maintaining accurate electronic medical records.
