This position is for an Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) in a primary care outpatient setting, collaborating with physicians to provide comprehensive care across all ages. The role involves working in a team environment, potentially performing minimally invasive procedures, and practicing within applicable state laws and collaborative agreements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians in outpatient primary care settings, including family medicine, pediatrics, or internal medicine.
• Perform services authorized by the supervising or collaborating physician within the scope of practice.
• Promote quality outcomes and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Work under supervision and in consultation with a physician, adhering to applicable laws and practice agreements.
• Practice within the delineation of privileges and maintain appropriate supervision agreements.
• Provide care to a stable patient population, potentially including minimally invasive procedures.
• Work in person or via Telehealth as part of a team-based approach.
• Maintain compliance with state laws, licensing, and certification requirements.

Compensation

• Salary compensation model (W-2 tax status).

Shift & Schedule

• Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday.
• 8-hour daytime shifts, typically 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Requirements

• Certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or equivalent for Nurse Practitioners.
• License as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in Ohio.
• Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) for Physician Assistants.
• Current state of Ohio medical license.
• Supervision or care arrangement agreement with a physician in the same practice area.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Experience in primary care, pediatrics, family medicine, or internal medicine preferred.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Compliance with all applicable legal and professional standards.
• Willingness to work a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 8-hour days.
