We are seeking a full-time Anesthesia Assistant (AA/AA-C) to join a physician-led anesthesia team providing care across inpatient and outpatient settings. The role offers a broad case mix, a supportive work environment, and a strong focus on work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesiologists in providing anesthesia care across various clinical settings.
• Participate in a wide range of cases including general, orthopedic, neuro, OB, urology, vascular, thoracic, endoscopy, and outpatient surgery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Maintain current certifications and licenses, including NCCAA certification and state licensure or eligibility.
• Adhere to established protocols for patient care and safety.
• Engage in continuous professional development and quality improvement activities.
• Optional participation in on-call shifts; additional shifts available if desired.
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.

Compensation

• $160,000 – $200,000 (DOE)
• Sign-on bonus of $5,000
• CME and dues stipend

Shift & Schedule

• Full-time schedule with predictable hours
• Variable days; no mandatory call or in-house call
• Optional call shifts; additional shifts available
• Minimal weekend and holiday requirements, varying by site

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant program.
• NCCAA certification (AA-C) and current state license or eligibility.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to patient-centered care.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
• Strong clinical skills across a variety of anesthesia cases.
• Willingness to participate in optional call shifts and additional duties.
• Prior experience is not required; new graduates are welcome.
• Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule with predictable hours.
