This is a full-time Advanced Practitioner position in Cardiothoracic Surgery at Mercy Clinic in Springfield, Missouri. The role involves clinic, rounding, and operating room duties, with scheduled hours from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, and rotating call coverage among APPs. Responsibilities

• Perform clinic, rounding, and operating room duties related to cardiothoracic surgery.
• Participate in scheduled hours from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
• Rotate call coverage with other Advanced Practitioners, with call schedule varying as needed.
• Provide patient care in a team-based environment supported by physicians and staff.
• Maintain documentation and coordinate care using the Epic EMR system.
• Engage in professional development with a yearly $3,000 CME fund and five out-of-office CME days.
• Assist with vein harvesting procedures, with prior experience preferred.
• Contribute to quality patient outcomes within a large, integrated health system.

Compensation

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of prior APP experience in cardiothoracic surgery.
• Preferred vein harvesting experience.
• Current licensure and certification as an Advanced Practice Provider.
