Third Street Family Health is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to provide comprehensive women’s health services, including prenatal, labor and delivery, postpartum, gynecological, and family planning care. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered, high-quality care in a community-focused setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide prenatal care, including physical examinations, fetal assessments, and maternal health monitoring.
• Perform pregnancy assessments, determine need for testing or interventions, and refer patients as necessary.
• Conduct labor and delivery care, assist with natural childbirth, administer medications or anesthesia, and support laboring individuals and families.
• Perform postpartum assessments, support breastfeeding, and provide guidance on newborn care and parenting.
• Conduct gynecological exams such as Pap smears, breast exams, and STI screenings.
• Provide family planning services, including contraceptive counseling, prescribing birth control, and performing procedures like IUD insertions and implants.
• Offer health education on nutrition, exercise, prenatal care, childbirth, and newborn care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and participate in quality improvement and continuing education activities.

Requirements

• Current Ohio Advanced Practice Nursing License
• Current AMCB certification as a Certified Nurse Midwife
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and BLS certifications
• One or more years of practice as a CNM
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Hospital experience preferred
• Hospital admitting privileges or ability to obtain within 90 days
• Ability to collaborate with healthcare team and develop individualized care plans
