The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is seeking a certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide medical management for patients with hematologic malignancies. The provider will evaluate, treat, and monitor patients during and after chemotherapy, perform procedures within scope of practice, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive cancer care. The role involves participation in clinical research and patient education within a leading cancer research and treatment environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex and problem-focused history and physical examinations.
• Evaluate and manage on-treatment and post-treatment side effects, including long-term surveillance and survivorship issues.
• Perform procedures according to licensure, credentialing, and scope of practice.
• Collaborate and consult with other disciplines to ensure safe, effective, and timely treatment and continuity of care.
• Participate in cancer clinical research activities.
• Provide education to patients, caregivers, and peers.
• Communicate effectively with inpatient and outpatient teams.
• Participate in patient rounds, conferences, and committees; serve as an active member of the Fred Hutch Rapid Response/Code Team.

Compensation

• Annual salary range from $126,984 to $200,678, based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner training program.
• Licensed to practice in the state of Washington.
• Certified as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
• DEA license upon credentialing/start.
• ACLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of ARNP or PA-C experience in Medical Oncology.
