Aequor Locums is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide emergency medicine coverage in Chillicothe, Ohio. The role involves working in a hospital emergency department with flexible scheduling and cross-credentialing opportunities. The position offers an immediate start and competitive hourly compensation.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care to patients in the emergency department
• Manage a patient caseload within a 36-bed ED setting
• Collaborate with hospital staff and emergency team members
• Perform clinical assessments, diagnostics, and treatment planning
• Document patient encounters accurately and thoroughly
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and standards
• Participate in cross-credentialing processes as needed
• Work 10-12 hour shifts with flexible scheduling options

Compensation

• $90.00 – $105.00 hourly
• Hourly compensation model
• Tax status: 1099
• Pay rate of $105/hour for eligible shifts

Requirements

• Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Board certification in emergency medicine or relevant specialty
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in emergency medicine
• Ability to work 10-12 hour shifts, flexible schedule preferred
• Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to participate in cross-credentialing processes
• Valid medical license for Ohio or ability to obtain one
• Experience working in hospital emergency departments
