The Physician Assistant will perform medical evaluations, physical examinations, and review of medical histories for military service applicants to determine eligibility based on Department of Defense standards. Compensation

  • Compensation is based on factors such as experience, skills, and internal equity; final salary will be determined accordingly.

Requirements

  • Current, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant.
  • Minimum of one year of recent experience as a Physician Assistant within the last two years.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution recognized by ARC-PA.
  • Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Physician collaborator must endorse the application for clinical privileges; an alternate physician must be appointed in writing.
  • Must have a favorably adjudicated National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) in the Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
  • Physical ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, twist, and lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Visual acuity and minimal hearing loss required.
  • Ability to work in compliance with military and healthcare regulations, including security requirements.
