Eventus WholeHealth is seeking a licensed healthcare provider, either a Physician or Nurse Practitioner, to deliver primary care services within skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. The role involves managing patient care according to facility protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and collaborating with facility staff to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide primary care services in accordance with site-specific protocols and standards of family medicine, geriatric medicine, or internal medicine related to long-term care.
  • Review and sign medication administration records (MARs), orders, and documentation within specified timeframes, including labs, plans of care, and prescriptions.
  • Manage narcotic prescriptions and adhere to narcotic policy guidelines.
  • Perform on-call triage duties as per the established protocol and schedule, with policies subject to modification based on provider consensus.
  • Complete documentation and submit billing records according to organizational policies, providing a hard copy of documentation within 48 hours of service.
  • Maintain open communication with facility staff and administration, providing verbal and written instructions regarding patient care and medications.
  • Meet with facility administrators or care coordinators daily before and after patient visits.
  • Adhere to all organizational policies, legal, regulatory, and ethical standards, including HIPAA confidentiality requirements.

Compensation

  • Salary-based compensation (W-2 tax status).

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution and current, valid state license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner, or
  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program, passing the national certification exam, and current state licensure as a Physician Assistant.
  • Current certification and licensure required for practice.
  • Experience or specialization in geriatric, family, or psychiatry is preferred.
  • Ability to perform on-call triage duties and manage patient care in a long-term care setting.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and patient confidentiality protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in documentation, billing procedures, and electronic medical records.
  • Flexibility to work variable schedules and participate in on-call rotations.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, ethical patient care.
