Responsibilities

• Provide healthcare services to patients during acute and chronic phases of illness.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to deliver patient care.
• Perform medical services authorized by credentialing and licensure organizations.
• Educate and counsel patients and their families about health conditions and preventive care.
• Manage patient care in inpatient oncology units, including stabilization and treatment planning.
• Refer patients to other healthcare providers and community resources as needed.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning.
• Adhere to hospital policies, protocols, and standards of practice.

Requirements

• Certification eligibility from recognized certifying bodies (e.g., ANCC, NCCPA).
