Asante in Ashland, Oregon, is seeking an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife to join their Primary Care team. The role involves providing full-scope midwifery services, including prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care, as well as outpatient well-woman exams and contraceptive care. Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope midwifery care including prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn services
• Conduct outpatient well-woman exams and provide contraceptive care
• Collaborate with OB physicians as needed
• Deliver patient-centered, compassionate, and independent care
• Maintain clinical documentation and adhere to best practices
• Participate in team-based care and quality improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with licensing and certification requirements
• Contribute to a supportive and collaborative clinical environment

Compensation

• Salary-based compensation (W-2 tax status)

Requirements

• MSN from a Certified Nurse Midwifery program
• 2-3 years of full-spectrum midwifery experience
• Licensed NMNP (OR) or CNM (AMCB)
• BLS and NRP certification (AHA)
• Strong clinical judgment and independent care approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Commitment to patient-centered care
• Experience in outpatient and inpatient settings preferred
• Valid Oregon midwifery license or eligibility
