Lexington Women's Health, part of Axia Women’s Health, is seeking a full-time Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to provide comprehensive midwifery care at our offices in Lexington and Nicholasville, Kentucky. The provider will join a multidisciplinary team and participate in first-call responsibilities, delivering full-scope midwifery services in a busy practice affiliated with Baptist Health Lexington.

Responsibilities

  • Provide full-scope midwifery care, including prenatal, delivery, postpartum, and gynecological services.
  • Participate in first-call duties for obstetric and gynecological emergencies.
  • Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare team members.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient encounters.
  • Ensure compliance with all licensing, credentialing, and hospital policies.
  • Contribute to patient education and counseling on reproductive health.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives within the practice.
  • Maintain current knowledge of clinical guidelines and best practices.

Compensation

  • $90,000 - $120,000 annually (value-based model)
  • W-2 employment with tax withholdings
  • Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications

Requirements

  • Kentucky APRN: CNM license and DEA registration or ability to obtain.
  • Minimum of 1 year of full-scope CNM experience.
  • Reside within 30 minutes of Lexington, KY, or willing to relocate within 30-40 minutes.
  • Experience in a busy practice setting preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • Prior obstetric and gynecological clinical experience preferred.
