A locum CRNA position at a small, orthopedic-focused hospital in Reidsville, Georgia. The role involves primarily outpatient orthopedic cases, including placing spinals, with no call, nights, or weekend requirements. The assignment duration ranges from 4 to 12 months with potential for extension.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia for outpatient orthopedic cases, including spinal placements.
• Manage anesthesia care for healthy pediatric patients one day per week.
• Perform procedures under supervision using paper and iPro Lite charting systems.
• Maintain patient safety and monitor anesthesia levels throughout procedures.
• Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure smooth perioperative processes.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and standards for anesthesia practice.
• Complete documentation accurately and timely.
• Provide anesthesia care within the scope of practice and licensure.

Requirements

• Active Georgia medical license.
• Certification as a CRNA.
• Experience with outpatient orthopedic anesthesia, including spinal placements.
• Ability to work independently in a small hospital setting.
• Proficiency with paper and iPro Lite charting systems.
