ApolloMD is seeking experienced Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) to join our Emergency Medicine team across three Novant Health Emergency Departments in the Winston Salem area. The role offers flexibility in scheduling and the opportunity to work at multiple sites within a vibrant community known for affordability and recreational activities. The position involves supporting hospital volumes ranging from 25,000 to 36,000 annually, with an average of 88 patients per day, under physician and APC supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medicine services in a hospital setting across multiple locations.
• Manage a patient volume averaging 88 patients per day, with support from physicians and APC colleagues.
• Collaborate with hospital staff to deliver quality patient care.
• Adapt to variable scheduling shifts based on departmental needs.
• Participate in clinical documentation and patient management activities.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and clinical protocols.
• Engage in continuous quality improvement and professional development.
• Support hospital operations during assigned shifts, including peak times.

Compensation

• Compensation is based on a non-salary model (Other), with partner eligibility.
• W-2 tax status applies.
• Eligible clinicians may have ownership opportunities and leadership training.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in emergency medicine or a related setting.
• Current licensure and certification as an APC (NP or PA) in the state of North Carolina.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong clinical judgment and patient management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work variable schedules, including days, evenings, or weekends.
• Willingness to support multiple hospital sites within the Winston Salem region.
