Wellstar Medical Group is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) and Anesthesiologist Assistants (AAs) to join their inpatient anesthesia team in the metro Atlanta area. The role involves providing anesthesia services across various specialties, including general, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, orthopedics, vascular, thoracic, and cardiac cases, with opportunities for emergency procedures. The position offers daytime shifts, weekend coverage, and in-house call, with a collaborative team of anesthesiologists and anesthetists committed to delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for a variety of cases including general, obstetric, pediatric, orthopedic, vascular, thoracic, and cardiac procedures.
• Participate in the Anesthesia Care Team Model alongside anesthesiologists and other anesthesia providers.
• Support emergency cesarean sections and pediatric cases as needed.
• Work daytime shifts with weekend shifts and in-house call responsibilities; backup call available for CRNAs and AAs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and quality care.
• Maintain all required certifications and licenses upon hire.

Requirements

• Successful completion of an accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant or Nurse Anesthesia educational program.
• Certification as a CAA or CRNA, with all certifications required upon hire.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS certification required within 180 days of employment.
• Ability to work in a variety of anesthesia cases, including emergency procedures and pediatrics.
• Comfortable working in a team-based environment with collaborative providers.
